EXPLORE MAKASSAR – BUGIS ROUNDTRIP

Makassar – Sengkang VIA Camba – Malino Highlands

6 Days / 5 Nights

Day1. ARRIVAL IN MAKASSAR / TRANSFER TO NOVOTEL HOTEL MAKASSAR (D)

Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, you will meet our tour guide. Then transfer directly to the center of Makassar for having dinner at Ratu Gurih Restaurant. Overnight stay at NOVOTEL Hotel Makassar.

Day2. RAMMANG-RAMMANG + BISLAP ADVENTURE + LENGANG WATERFALL + LEANG PANNING PARK / OVERNIGHT STAY AT BBC HOTEL SENGKANG (B,L,D)

After breakfast, check out hotel. Then we take more than 1,5 to Salenrang Village where we will take a boat trip along the river Puteh to visit Kampung Berua. Here we will take about 30 minutes, walking around the village with fabulous limestone hills view. Then proceed to Pattunuang Village where we will visit the BISLAP Geo-Park area where we can do some water sport activities; such as kayaking or rafting on the white and fresh water river, Or taking nature photographs around the area that has many beautiful spots for photos. After enough time, we will explore the Lengang Waterfall which is located on a nice countryside, offers magnificent views around its area. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will take you to the Palm Sugar Home-Industry in Mallawa, where you can see the processing of making palm sugar traditionally. Then proceed to Leang Panning Park where you can find one of the most spectacular pre-historic caves in world with impressive formation of the stalactite and stalagmite stones. Afterwards, drive through to Sengkang, located on the center of the former BUGIS Kingdom. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at BBC Hotel Sengkang.

Day3. LAKE TEMPE TOUR / DRIVE TO BULUDUA/CELEBES CANYON TOUR / RAMMANG-RAMMANG / OVERNIGHT STAY AT NOVOTEL HOTEL MAKASSAR (B,L,D)

Early in the morning around, we will take you on a motorized-boat tour exploring the Lake Tempe to discover the Buginese Fishermen Village who do live on the floating houses. After taking around 30 minutes on the village, sail-back to Sengkang for having breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, drive back to Makassar VIA Buludua, where this route offers many picturesque views of mountains and rice terraces. In Buludua, we will take our time to explore the Celebes Canyon where a small beautiful canyon which offers fantastic and instagramable spots on its surrounding area. After enough time, drive through to Makassar. Dinner will be served at AYAM GORENG SULAWESI Restaurant. Overnight stay at Novotel Hotel Makassar.

Day4. SENGKANG—MALINO HIGHLANDS VIA SINJAI (B,L,D)

Early in the morning around, we will take you on a motorized-boat tour exploring the Lake Tempe to discover the Buginese Fishermen Village who do live on the floating houses. After taking around 30 minutes on the village, sail-back to Sengkang for having breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, drive about 4,5 hours to Malino highlands via Sinjai where the route from Sinjai to Malino offers one of the most exotic and marvelous rice terraces views in Indonesia. Lunch will be served at Malino Highlands Restaurant which is situated at the green tea plantation area with fantastic view surrounded by big mountains. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at VILLA TEPI SAWAH.

Day5. MALINO HIGHLANDS TOUR – MAKASSAR (B,L,D)

After breakfast, we will take you on Malino Waterfalls Tour exploring the BIRORO & TAKAPALA Waterfall. Then we will have a walking in South of Malino which offers the beauty of Mt. Bawakaraeng. Lunch will served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, drive to about 2,5 hours to Makassar. Dinner and overnight stay at NOVOTEL Makassar.

Day6. FREE PROGRAM / TRANSFER AIRPORT (B)

After breakfast, free program (or shopping tour can be served). Then transfer directly to Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport to catch your flight back to KUALA LUMPUR or SINGAPORE.
